Returns & refunds

If something isn't right, tell us.

Most things can come back to us within 14 days. A few — limited editions, custom work, final-sale and gift cards — can't. If a parcel arrives damaged, that's always our problem, not yours.

The 14-day window

You may return most pieces within 14 days of the date your parcel was delivered. To be eligible:

  • The piece must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging (including glassine sleeves and stiffener boards).
  • You must contact us first at [email protected] with your order number so we can issue a return reference.
  • The return must be posted within 14 days of the original delivery date.

What can't be returned

Some categories are excluded from the return window:

  • Limited editions — signed and numbered pieces from a finite run.
  • Custom or commissioned work — anything we made to your spec, including bespoke stationery.
  • Gift cards.
  • Final-sale items — clearly marked as such on the listing.

This doesn't affect your statutory rights if a piece arrives damaged or doesn't match its description — see the next two sections.

Damaged on arrival

If your parcel arrives damaged, take a photo of the outer packaging and of the damaged piece(s) and email them to [email protected] within 7 days of delivery. We'll either:

  • Reprint and reship at no cost, if the edition still has stock; or
  • Refund you in full, including original shipping.

You won't need to post the damaged piece back unless we specifically ask.

Wrong piece or doesn't match the listing

Same as above — write to us with a photo and we'll cover the return shipping and either reship or refund.

How to return something

Once you have a return reference from us:

  1. Repack the piece exactly as it arrived — flat between board, in glassine.
  2. Include a note inside with your order number and return reference.
  3. Send it tracked. We strongly recommend a tracked service; we cannot refund a return that never reaches us.

We'll send the return address when we issue your reference.

Return shipping cost

For returns of unwanted (but undamaged) items, the cost of return postage is yours. For damaged-on-arrival or wrong-item returns, we cover it — either by reimbursing you or by sending you a prepaid label.

Refund timing

Once your return reaches the studio and we've inspected it, we'll process the refund to your original payment method within 5 working days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few more days to appear on your statement.

Original shipping costs are refundable only for damaged, defective or wrong items — not for change-of-mind returns.

Exchanges

We don't process exchanges directly. If you'd like a different piece, return the original for a refund and place a new order. We'll happily refund the shipping on the original if you're swapping for something of equal or greater value — just tell us when you write in.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including the right to a refund where a piece is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as expected.
