Shipping & delivery

How orders leave the studio.

We dispatch twice a week, pack everything flat between board, and use tracked services everywhere we ship. Here's the detail.

Dispatch schedule

Orders leave the studio on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Anything placed before 14:00 CET on a dispatch day will go that day; anything later will go on the next one. We do not dispatch on weekends or public holidays.

You'll receive a separate email with a tracking number when your parcel is collected.

Packaging

Every print, card and broadside is wrapped in glassine, sandwiched between two sheets of stiff board, and posted in a board-reinforced kraft mailer. Larger pieces ship in a rigid tube. We don't use plastic mailers; we don't use bubble wrap unless it has come back to us already used.

Domestic shipping

Within the country the studio operates from, we use a tracked next-working-day service for most parcels. Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight; you'll see the exact figure before you pay.

  • Standard tracked: 1–3 working days after dispatch.
  • Signed-for: available at checkout for higher-value orders.

International shipping

We ship to most of Europe and to the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan as standard. For anywhere else, write to us first and we'll see what we can do.

  • Europe: 3–7 working days after dispatch.
  • Rest of world: 7–14 working days, sometimes longer in peak periods.

All international parcels ship tracked. We declare orders at their full purchase value on the customs form, as required by law.

Customs, duties and import taxes

Orders shipped outside our home customs union may attract import duty, VAT or handling fees on arrival, depending on the rules in the destination country. These charges are the recipient's responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping cost shown at checkout. If a parcel is refused at customs and returned to us, we'll refund the goods but not the original shipping cost.

Tracking your parcel

The tracking link in your dispatch email will show updates from the carrier. International parcels can sometimes go quiet for a few days as they move between carriers; that's normal and not a sign anything has gone wrong.

Late or missing parcels

If your tracking hasn't updated for more than 7 working days (domestic) or 14 working days (international), write to [email protected] with your order number. We'll open an enquiry with the carrier on your behalf.

A parcel is officially "lost" once the carrier has formally declared it so — usually 15 working days after dispatch domestically, longer internationally. At that point we will either reprint and reship (if the edition still has stock) or refund you in full.

Wrong address at checkout

If you spot a typo in your address, write to us straight away. If the parcel hasn't been packed we'll correct it for free. If it has shipped to a wrong-but-deliverable address it is, unfortunately, on its way — we can't recall a parcel mid-route, and shipping a replacement will be at your cost.

Returns

Shipping for returns is covered in the returns policy.
